Let me start by taking a look into the past;

     “Gurukula Samprathaya”- A system of education which was followed in our ancient time. A kind of learning where the ‘Shishya’ (student) goes to a “Guru” (a learned, knowledgeable person) and resides with him for seeking “Shastrs” i.e. science or say “Vidhya” (art or knowledge).

    ‘Gurukula’ in the past usually had certain specialities compared to the modern day educational institutions. Like, they will be away from towns, mostly in an isolated place, but with a source and availability for fresh food and enough water. The learning of Ayurveda was also done in the same manner.

      The aim of selecting such place was to bring scilence, freshness and peaceful atmosphere in education process. The ‘Prakruthi’ (nature) act like a nourishing mother and ‘Guru’ as a guiding force in the Shishya’s “Vidhyabhyasa kaala” i.e. time of schooling.

       A person who visits Dhanvantari Ayurvedic College and Hospital may also observe similar features like of our ancients.

        The place Koydam is situated away from the nuisance of city life, blessed with land of cultivation and gushing with pleasant climate and peace.

         With these we are also putting the best effort in imparting the knowledge of Ayurveda in its original form. With a refreshing atmosphere and eminent qualified staffs, we offer the students with quality education and for the society with promising Doctor’s for the future.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  – Principal
