Kaumarbhritya (Balroga)

            Balaroga department is one among the Ashtangas of Ayurveda, which deals with the care of infants,children;their diseases & management. It is considered as one of the the most important branches of Ayurveda because of the scope of subject that it deals with care of child from conception till adolescence. In Balaroga OPD & IPD both Ayurveda and modern treatments are practiced.

           The department also focuses on all aspects of physical and psychological growth of children. To improve the immunity and overall well being of children, Suvarna Prashan Sanskar also conducted in the department. 

            Balaroga department is actively involved in all the institutional activities like medical camps and curricular activities. The Balroga department provides academic excellence and clinical experience for students on various common problems seen in newborn, infants and children. This will keep the student competent in the child health care system.

Suvarna Prashan :

       It is Process of administration of Swarna in children added with herbal medicines.Suvarna Prashan is conducted every month on Pushya Nakshatra day in the department. Children of age 0 to 16 year are benefited with this medicine. Swarna prashana boosts immunity & health status of children. Swarna prashana also helps in improving the overall well being of children.
